Arsenal, who lost 3-1 to Real Betis on Wednesday in a friendly match, are expected to unveil Guimarães soon.

Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimarães has completed his medical at Arsenal and will soon be unveiled as the North London club’s latest signing.
This was disclosed on Wednesday night by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.
According to the Italian journalist, Guimarães is set to join the Premier League champions after they agreed a £75m transfer fee with the Magpies.
Romano added that the 28-year-old will sign a four-year contract with the Gunners, with the option for an extra year.

He further noted that the Brazil international has already spoken with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who has expressed his delight at his imminent arrival.
“Bruno Guimarães has completed his medical at Arsenal ahead of signing a four-year contract at the club,” Romano wrote on his verified handle.
He added: “Mikel Arteta already spoke to Bruno today, excited to welcome him as Arteta wanted Guimarães for years… and now he’s joining.
“£75m move, to be announced soon.”
