Nigerian online streamer Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, has clapped back at popular rapper Oludemilade Martin Alejo, aka Ycee, after the latter condemned the way content creation is being handled by some influencers in Nigeria.
The 21-year-old TikToker responded to the comment by the ‘Something Light’ hitmaker in a video shared on his social media page.
Ycee, while appearing as a guest on the latest edition of the Afropolitan Podcast, slammed what he termed the rise of the “olodo uprising”, “Yahoo culture”, and “Peller culture”.

According to the 33-year-old artist, Nigerians are increasingly celebrating ignorance and illiteracy instead of intellectual achievement.
Reacting to the criticism, Peller faulted the singer for calling him out and referred to him as a “very anyhow OG”.
He went on to claim that Ycee had displayed the very illiteracy he alleged is rampant in the content creation industry by mentioning specific names while expressing his views.
Speaking in the viral clip, Peller said: “The same olodo uprising wey una dey use promote una noise, very anyhow OG. If you’re an elderly person, respect yourself. Must you mention names? You yourself are an illiterate because, as an elderly man with sense, you should be able to make your point without mentioning anyone’s name.”
