Socialite and businessman Olakunle Churchill has seemingly reacted to being snubbed by both his wife, Rosy Meurer, and his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh, on Father’s Day.
While celebrating this year’s Father’s Day on 21 June, many Nigerians, including celebrities, took to social media to celebrate their fathers and husbands.
However, Churchill was ignored by both Nollywood actresses—most notably Tonto Dikeh, with whom he had recently reconciled.
Apparently reacting to the snub, the businessman took to his verified handle to celebrate himself by sharing a picture and offering prayers for all his children.
Captioning the post, he wrote: “Happy Father’s Day to me ❤️. Today, I thank God for the gift and privilege of being a father. May He continue to strengthen me, guide me, and bless me with wisdom, patience, and grace to lead my children well.”

Continuing his prayers, Churchill added: “Prayers for my children 🙏 May God protect them, keep them healthy, and surround them with His favour. May they grow in wisdom, love, and the knowledge of God. May their paths be filled with purpose, peace, and success, and may they become a source of joy and pride for generations to come (amen) 🙏”
Meanwhile, the silence from both women elicited mixed reactions from netizens, with many linking it to a rumoured marital crisis with Rosy following his reconciliation with Tonto Dikeh.
Others argued that it was payback for his own decision to snub both women and focus solely on his mother during the Mother’s Day celebrations in March.
However, sharing a cryptic post on his Instagram page on Tuesday, Churchill noted that he is simply playing dumb just to watch “their performance”.
He wrote: “Smart people know when to play dumb. I know who is fake, I just enjoy watching their performance.”
