Nigerian comedian, vlogger, and content creator Jubril Oladapo Gbadamosi, better known as Officer Woos, has refuted claims that he announced the death of his colleague, Broda Shaggi.
He denied the allegation recently via both his Instagram story and a official statement issued by his legal representatives, Versed Attorneys.
Two days earlier, an X blogger identified as @Ghost91 claimed that Officer Woos, a close associate of Broda Shaggi, had announced the comedian’s death on social media.
Sharing a picture of Broda Shaggi, @Ghost91 wrote: “Officer woos just announced the passed away of his brother broda shaggi vis his ig page. May his soul rest in perfect peace.”
Prior to that post, the comic actor had been rumoured to have lost his life after allegedly being shot while filming at the Sango Ota Bridge in Ogun State three months ago.

The rumours grew louder following the alleged incident, as Broda Shaggi had not publicly addressed the matter.
Reacting to the viral post by @Ghost91, Officer Woos shared a screenshot of the claim on his official handle and captioned it simply: “False.”
His lawyers, Versed Attorneys, further clarified the situation in a statement:
”We act as Solicitors to Mr. Jubril Oladapo Gbadamosi, alias “Officer Woos” (“our Client”), a respected content creator and public figure, and write this statement in response to false and malicious publications currently circulating on social media, particularly X (formerly Twitter).
”It has come to our Client’s attention that certain unverified and anonymous social media pages have published claims alleging that our Client publicly announced the death of a close colleague on his official page.
”Our client has never announced the death of any colleague, friend, or associate on any of his platforms. These publications are entirely manufactured and constitute a deliberate attempt to misinform the public.”
Officer Woos has since threatened legal action against all individuals responsible for spreading the publication.
