Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has fought back against a group of street urchins, popularly called “area boys“, who reportedly stormed her outdoor movie location demanding “settlement”.
The tense moment on set was captured in a video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user Usmanashafe on Thursday.
In the now-trending post, the thespian is seen standing her ground while confronting the men, who insisted she pay them for filming in their neighbourhood.

Visibly upset, Bimbo made it clear she is not averse to supporting them financially. She, however, rejected their approach and insisted that if she must help, it has to be on her own terms.
Addressing them in the video, she said: “I am a street girl, let me tell you. Ask around; when it comes to matters of the street, I like settling boys. But you don’t come to me and start telling me the amount to give. Yes, you came to beg, and you’re even being proud of it.”
The situation, however, grew even more tense when one of the men threatened to switch off her camera.
Dismissing the threat, the actress fired back sharply, saying: “Camera that nobody in your generation has.”
