FHCN launches E-filing platform in Lagos division on April 27

The Federal High Court of Nigeria (FHCN) will on Monday April 27, 2026 formally launch its electronic filing ( E-filing) platform designed to streamline and automate the management of cases in the Federal High Court, Lagos Judicial Division.
All Legal Practitioners and the general public are therefore invited to the launching event which will take place at the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos by 10.00 am.
According to a release signed by the acting Chief Registrar, Federal High Court of Nigeria, Yahaya Yakubu Shafa, FCARB the final date for the manual filing of new cases in the Lagos division ends Friday, 24th April, 2026. Thereafter, all new filings shall be conducted exclusively through the E-filing platform.
However, all matters instituted prior to the go-live date shall continue to be processed manually until judgement is delivered and such matters are finally disposed off.
All Legal Practitioners are therefore enjoined to be guided accordingly and are expected to ensure strict compliance.
