British pundit and former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has tipped Arsenal to win the English Premier League (EPL) despite their recent setback against Bournemouth and Manchester City’s clinical win over Chelsea.
The Gunners lost their Week 32 fixture 2-1 to Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, while Man City thrashed Chelsea 3-0 at Stamford Bridge a day later.
Following these results, Mikel Arteta’s side are now just six points ahead of City, who have a game in hand.
Despite this, Owen believes Arsenal will narrowly beat the Citizens to the Premier League title.

He did, however, admit that the momentum of the title race has shifted in favour of Manchester City.
“I think Manchester City have got the slightly more difficult games. They have got Bournemouth away; they have got Everton away,” Owen said, as quoted by Metro UK.
“They are two tough games. However, when you look at this weekend, we thought Arsenal [would be comfortable] at home to Bournemouth and City [would struggle] away at Chelsea.
“Everything is pointing to City: the momentum, Pep Guardiola’s record, the experience of the players, current form, and City being at home against Arsenal.
“It’s a toss of a coin, but I think Arsenal might just nick it.”
