Afrobeats star and songwriter, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr, has disclosed that her spiritual goal in life is to be “as perfect as Jesus,” adding that she is also venturing into acting.
The ‘Last Heartbreak Song’ crooner made this known in a candid chat with TikToker Jarvis during a recent livestream, while opening up on her spirituality and faith.
According to the 23-year-old singer, although she is not a very religious person, she is spiritually devoted.

Speaking during the chat, she said: “I am trying to be as perfect as Jesus. I have a close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit, and it doesn’t come with me only being in church. God says let it be unto you according to your faith. I have found a way that works for me.”
Ayra Starr went on to emphasise that being spiritual and less religious is what works for her for the time being, but added that it might change later.
The music star also revealed to her fans during the interview that she is venturing into the film industry.
She further disclosed that she began her acting career last year and her debut movie is expected to be released this year.
