Nollywood actor and film producer Segun Ogungbe and his estranged wife, actress Wunmi Ajiboye, have finally settled their differences after a three-year separation.
The Public Fallout
The cracks in their relationship became glaringly public in 2023. At the time, Wunmi faced heavy criticism from netizens after she appeared to snub Ogungbe during her mother’s burial ceremony.
While she was seen publicly acknowledging and thanking MC Oluomo, she notably ignored her husband throughout the event.
Although Wunmi denied rumours of an affair with MC Oluomo, her actions at the funeral served as confirmation for many fans that the couple had indeed parted ways.

The “Marriage” Dispute
In response to the backlash she received for ignoring Ogungbe, the actress clarified the nature of their relationship.
She shocked fans by claiming that, despite sharing two sons, they were never legally or traditionally married.
“We were never married. He does not know my people. We only have children together,” she stated, adding that Ogungbe had never paid her bride price.
A New Chapter
In a surprising turn of events, the celebrity pair appear to have put the past behind them. They were recently spotted looking affectionate and holding onto one another at the premiere of Ogungbe’s latest movie, ‘Irete’.
