Italian tactician and former Real Madrid manager Fabio Capello has hailed the return of Juventus defender Gleison Bremer, stating that his presence will help the Serie A club cope with Victor Osimhen’s threat in the second leg of Wednesday’s European clash against Galatasaray.
Capello shared his insights ahead of Juventus’ UEFA Champions League (UCL) Round of 16 play-off against the Turkish Süper Lig giants in Turin.
Juventus, who host Galatasaray at the Allianz Stadium, lost the first leg of the encounter 5-3 in Turkey last week.
Osimhen was instrumental in the first leg, providing two assists, while goals from Yunus Akgün, Noa Lang, Davinson Sánchez, and Sacha Boey secured the victory for Galatasaray.

Bremer started that match but was forced off after just 34 minutes due to an injury sustained during the tie.
Analysing the return leg, Capello emphasised that a fit Bremer is essential for containing Galatasaray’s dangerous attackers.
“Bremer’s return is crucial. He is a vital factor against the speed of Osimhen and Barış Alper Yılmaz in open spaces,” Capello told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
He further noted that Juventus struggled defensively in the first leg, leading to several bookings.
“What happened after Bremer came off in the first match is clear; Barış Alper forced many yellow cards, and the defence struggled throughout,” he added.
