Club Brugge head coach Ivan Leko has expressed his disappointment after Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika was suspended for the crucial second leg of their UEFA Champions League (UCL) play-off tie against Atletico Madrid.

Leko made his feelings known following his team’s thrilling 3-3 draw against Diego Simeone’s side at the Jan Breydelstadion on Wednesday night.

The 24-year-old defensive midfielder scored Brugge’s first goal and set up Christos Tzolis for the third just one minute from time.

Speaking after the game, Leko admitted that the team must find a solution without Onyedika for the upcoming European fixture.

“We don’t have another Rapha, so we’ll have to find another solution,” Leko told the club’s official website.
