Thelma Lawson cries out, says post-BBNaija 10 fame drains her wallet

Thelma Lawson argued she had no choice but to please fans who named her “the most fashionable” BBNaija housemate.

Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 4 housemate, Thelma Lawson, has lamented that her expenses after the reality television show have increased significantly.

​She made the candid admission recently while featuring as a guest on a programme on Yanga FM, Lagos.

​According to her, fans’ expectations are putting her under pressure to look good at all times.

​She added that she had no choice but to please fans who named her “the most fashionable” housemate during the show.

​Speaking during the interview, Thelma said, “This new life is expensive.”

​Cutting in, the interviewer asked, “Why is it expensive?”

​Answering the question, Thelma replied, “Because you are showing up for events. I came out of the house and found out that I was named ‘the most fashionable.’ Now, I have an audience that wants to see what Thelma is wearing.

​“So, it’s expensive. Also, because I have a business that requires constant restocking, it’s very, very overwhelming.”
