Abike’s unverified Ghana defender – Nigerian/Igbo Association in Ghana, ID verification urgently required: Abike was neither ignorant nor unaware of what she had done in endorsing and expanding hate speech – she just didn’t care because she had done it for so long without any sanction, especially during Buhari’s regime… Since she is so brazen in her shamelessness and promotion of ethnic jingoism, I will not stop demanding that Abike Dabiri is removed from office until President Tinubu realises that she is a liability to his dream of returning in 2027 and throws her out. Or a foreign country arrests her on arrival for promoting ethnic hatred. Or they cancel her visas. Or UN Commissions sanction and blacklist her. Whatever it takes. All I know is this: ABIKE MUST GO.

By Ambassador Lilian Onoh
In Nigeria, one thing is guaranteed – when persons of other tribes do or say offensive things against Nd’Igbo, the very next thing is to use an Igbo name (real or invented) to defend themselves in the media.
Such is the case with Abike Dabiri’s promotion of hate speech against Igbos and her virulent ethnic jingoism. She could not find a single Igbo person in Nigeria to defend her, which is in itself confirmation of her terrible record with Igbo people. She chose to use an Igbo sounding name attached to someone claiming to be in Ghana to try to whitewash herself – very badly I might add.
After due investigation, I discovered that there is no record of the existence of this so called Callistus Ezelinwu before his nitwit attempt to attack Elsie Bernadette Onubogu’s intelligent dissection of Abike Dabiri’s endorsement and promotion of hate speech.
On further investigation, I discovered that the Moradeke Kolawole that was the attack dog used by the same Abike to attack my very clear narration of my encounter with her at Aso Villa which has both video and pictorial evidence, also has no verifiable ID aside from a couple of E-Rat attacks against people who commented negatively against Abike Dabiri.
And to top it all, Callistus Ezelinwu quoted a purported endorsement of Abike by the Chairman of NIDO Europe – an entity that Moradeke had shredded as a non-existent, strife filled entity in a previous online rant in defence of Abike. The gaslighters gaslit themselves!
In fact, a cursory comparison of the articles by the so-called Callistus Ezelinwu in “Ghana” and “Moradeke Kolawole” shows such an uncanny similarity that it is almost laughable. Only an unthinking person would not conclude that they were written by the same person. They follow exactly the same pattern of previous writings by “Moradeke” in defence of Abike – namely personal vilification of those that criticize Abike with nonsensical counter-accusations designed to deflect attention from the issue at hand.
They do not address the substance of any article reporting Abike’s misdeeds – they simply attack the author and praise Abike at the end of whatever drivel they cough up as “articles”. Thus, I firmly believe that the articles purportedly authored by Moradeke Kolawole and Callistus were written by the same intellectually challenged person. The two articles in defence of Abike Dabiri’s endorsement and expansion of hate speech by “Moradeke Kolawole” and “Callistus Ezelinwu” lack reason, critical thinking and common sense.
Abike is still hiding behind proxies in the hope that this wind will blow over as it has in previous cases. She thinks she can continue her hateful conduct towards Igbos as Chairman of NIDCOM. It will not happen. I will not let it. Her “Moradeke” lied against me to defend her so I will not let Abike rest. I repeat, Abike and I met at Aso Villa on July 4, 2018 and without provocation, she proclaimed that Igbo people were all criminals and were the ones committing all the crimes overseas and that Igbo people were Nigeria’s problem.
She should come out of hiding and speak on her own behalf to explain how she, a purported Mass Communications graduate with fifteen years as a reporter, could be so intellectually challenged that she did not realise that she was endorsing hate speech by reposting the vile tweet by a worthless hitherto unknown fellow with her 18 (EIGHTEEN!) laughter emojis accompanying it.
To compound her despicable actions, Abike then chose to further insult Igbos by using an Igbo sounding name to defend her abuse of our forefathers, ourselves and our children by endorsing someone who described Igbos as bastard children of monkeys and gorillas. That is putting her fingers in our eyes then laughing at us.

So, I am calling on all the Nigerian Associations in Ghana, especially the Igbo Associations to verify if this character called Callistus Ezelinwu, whose dodgy picture accompanies his defence of Abike Dabiri, actually exists or if he is a figment of Abike’s imagination.
If he does actually exist, then it is incumbent on both the Nigerian and Igbo Associations in Ghana to expel and ostracise him immediately. It is unthinkable that any Association – Igbo or otherwise – would accept someone who defends Abike’s right to laugh at our venerated ancestors – our Fathers, Mothers, Grandparents, those who fought for Nigeria’s independence, those who died in the Biafra War, 1st and 2nd World wars and our children, present and future – being called “bastard offspring of monkeys and gorillas.”
However, if there is no verifiable record of this Callistus’ existence, then the President of the Nigerian/Igbo Associations in Ghana should urgently notify Nigerian media and Modern Ghana News that Abike’s defender is a ghost.
It is time to stop this odious practice whereby vile charlatans of Igbo hatred trot out random Igbo names to defend themselves whenever they insult Igbos.
As for the so-called “Moradeke Kolawole” (not the one teaching people how to make caftans on Instagram), she should show her face and tell the world how she purportedly came up with her claim that the highly publicised visit of late President Geingob of Namibia in 2018 was fiction I made up and that Abike Dabiri and I had never met.
I can only ask readers to ask themselves if it is likely that a random person called Moradeke Kolawole, with no background knowledge, would just jump into the fray as an attack dog for Abike and deny a historical State Visit broadcast by all news networks and television stations in Nigeria and Namibia. That is why I believe that Abike and this Moradeke are one and the same person and that the article by this unknown Callistus Ezelinwu was also penned by the same person.
In the meantime, I have a message for Abike Dabiri Erewa – “Abike Must Go.”
There is an Igbo adage that says that a shameless person is worse than a murderer because there is nothing a shameless person cannot do. In Abike’s case, she had no shame in lying that she had never met me or denigrated Igbo people to me, despite the fact that she was well aware that both pictorial and video evidence existed to prove her to be a liar. That is shamelessness on a level I have rarely encountered. Abike Must Go.
Abike, who claims to have a degree in Mass Communications, was neither ignorant nor unaware of what she had done in endorsing and expanding hate speech – she just didn’t care because she had done it for so long without any sanction, especially during Buhari’s regime.
Nothing could be done under Buhari, whose hatred of Igbos was just as rabid as her own. He notoriously tried to cross the Niger Bridge with lorry loads of koboko during the Civil War before they were blown up. He vetoed the OAU’s consensus Nigerian candidate and voted for Niger Republic’s less qualified candidate instead. He also referred to non-Muslims as baboons and monkeys whose blood would flow if he did not win and called Nigeria’s suffering youth “lazy” in an interview in London. His competence for the job was at par with Abike’s.
Abike thrived under Buhari and grew more and more brazen, which is why, with Buhari standing some feet away, she opened her incontinent mouth and proclaimed that it was Igbos committing all the crimes abroad and that Igbo people were Nigeria’s problem, without caring that not only was I, Nigeria’s serving High Commissioner to Namibia, Igbo, foreign diplomats were also in close proximity and heard her vile hate-filled lies against Igbos. She is indeed a vile vessel of putrefied hate, unfit for any interaction with an Igbo person anywhere in the world.
Since she is so brazen in her shamelessness and promotion of ethnic jingoism, I will not stop demanding that Abike Dabiri is removed from office until President Tinubu realises that she is a liability to his dream of returning in 2027 and throws her out. Or a foreign country arrests her on arrival for promoting ethnic hatred. Or they cancel her visas. Or UN Commissions sanction and blacklist her. Whatever it takes. All I know is this: ABIKE MUST GO.
Nigerian Associations in Ghana, we await your speedy response. Thank you in advance.
