Davido and Chioma’s poignant exchange on social media elicited support from fans, family and friends.

Ace Afrobeats singer and record label owner, David Adeleke, better known as Davido and his wife, Chioma, are currently trending on social media following a poignant exchange on Instagram.
Chioma, who took a break from social media in 2022 after the tragic loss of her son, Ifeanyi, returned on Thursday with a heartfelt post.
Sharing a photo of her wedding bracelet bearing Ifeanyi’s image, she wrote, “My best friend walked into me forever, Ify, you’re on my mind every day and you live in my heart. Always and forever. Love, Mummy.”

Responding to Chioma’s post on IG, Davido wrote “Till Infinity.”
After their posts surfaced online, fans and well-wishers trooped to the comment section to express support for the couple as they heal from the loss of their son.
Ifeanyi Adeleke passed on in October 2022 after a drowning incident at his father’s Banana Island residence in Lagos.
Since then, Chioma has been relatively inactive on social media, making her recent post a significant return.
