Yesufu in the post on X also labelled President Tinubu “Agba baller”

Activist and former co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls (BBOG) advocacy group, Aisha Yesufu, has alleged that President Bola Tinubu contested the 2023 presidential election just to enjoy the perks of the office and not to govern.
She made this known on Thursday while reacting to criticism of Tinubu’s planned two-way trip abroad by Labour Party (LP) 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
TheNiche had earlier reported that President Tinubu is expected to jet out of Nigeria for Japan and Brazil today.
While announcing the trip, his media aide, Bayo Onanuga, said the president will attend the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) while in Japan.

Speaking on the trip, Obi alleged that the president is planning to travel to Japan and Brazil while Nigeria bleeds and remains in a deplorable state.
The former Anambra State governor added that such a trip is insensitive, given that he recently returned from Brazil.
He said: “How can anyone explain that a President who came from Brazil recently and met with the President is returning to the same country, leaving the various degrees of challenges at home unresolved?”
Reacting to his comments, Yesufu mocked Tinubu, whom she labelled “Agba baller.”
Posting on X, she wrote: “Mr Tinubu did not rig election to govern, he rigged election to enjoy the perks of office. Agba baller.”
