Self-acclaimed relationships expert and internet personality, Blessing Okoro Nkiruka, better known as Blessing CEO, has queried the decision of police to arrest her fiancé, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, aka IVD on Friday.
IVD, a celebrity auto dealer, was picked up and detained by the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions while on his way to Qatar.
He was reportedly traveling to the Asian country to walk down the aisle with his lover, Blessing CEO.
Reacting to the arrest in a post she shared on her Instagram page on Saturday night, Blessing described the businessman’s incarceration as illegal, tagging it “a game of politics and dirty emotions.”

While questioning the rationale behind the arrest, the social media influencer wrote, “This is a tribal war that has nothing to do with justice. What are you charging IVD for? no case file, or statement.”
Earlier, several media outlets had reported that IVD’s arrest is connected to the death of his late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna.
Taking to her Instagram page on Saturday, popular blogger, Stella Dimoko-Korkus, said “Domestic Violence case against him regarding his late wife is still in court. IVD is not supposed to leave Nigeria until the case is over,”
