Super Falcons are expected to begin their WAFCON 2024 campaign against Tunisia in Casablanca on Sunday, July 6.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria are expected to arrive in Morocco on Wednesday, June 26, for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), following a goalless draw in a friendly against Portugal on Monday evening.
The Justine Madugu led side held the European opposition to a 0-0 draw in the match played in front of their home crowd at the Estadio Jose Gomes.
The players after the encounter will have a light training session on Tuesday (today) before departing for Morocco, the venue of this year’s WAFCON.

On Sunday, the Super Falcons are expected to play another friendly against perennial rivals Black Queens of Ghana.
The nine-time African champions’ opening game at the WAFCON 2024 finals is against Tunisia in Casablanca on Sunday, July 6.
They will also face South African side, Botswana, and another Norrh African team, Algeria in the group stage.
