“My son has been found,” Fijabi Oyindamola Omotayo announced on Facebook at the weekend after declaring him missing for six days from Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo in Ogun, and pleaded with the public and security agencies to help find him.

Omotayo in her Facebook post did not provide details of how she found her son, Oladipupo Siwajuola, whom she had announced on the platform vanished into thin air after dropping him off at the university last Sunday.

Babcock University Marketing and Communications Director, Joshua Suleiman, also confirmed to The PUNCH that the school has received the cheering news, saying  “Yes, we are aware.”

But, like Omotayo, he too did not provide details of how and why Oladipupo disappeared nor where he was found.

Omotayo in a tearful a live Facebook video on Saturday had urged the public as well as the security agencies to help find her son, whom she said dropped off at the school on April 27.

“Members of the public should please help tell Babcock University to produce my son. I dropped him off at the school by myself on Sunday evening, but for the past three day, I have not been able to sleep as I cannot find my son,” she lamented at the time.
