Ndigboamaka Progressive Markets Association hails govt over appointment of new SEDC board members

Ndigboamaka Progressive Markets Association has said it is pleased with the recent appointment of Emeka Wogu, Stanley Ohajuruka and Toby Okechukwu to the board of the Southeast Development Commission (SEDC).

In a statement on Friday signed by its president, Chinedu Ukatu, and made available to TheNiche, the association described the appointees as “men of integrity”.

“This appointment is a significant step forward in promoting the interests of South easterners and traders from South East and ensuring even development for South East,” the statement said.

“We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our worthy Patron Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu (Deputy Speaker Federal House of Representatives) for his tireless efforts in facilitating this appointment. His dedication and commitment to promoting the development of South East are truly commendable.

“The appointment of these men of Integrity is a testament to their exceptional leadership qualities and expertise in public service.

“We are confident that they will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the board, and we look forward to working with them to advance the interests of traders towards the development and remodelling of South East.

“This appointment demonstrates the government’s commitment to promoting the development and welfare of South East.”

Ndigboamaka Progressive Markets Association said it would continue to work closely with the government and other stakeholders to promote the interests of traders who have contributed immensely to advance the growth and development of South East and the nation at large.
