Bae U Barbie made the comment via the snippet of the upcoming episode of his podcast show, ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’

Popular skit maker and content creator, Adebayo Ridwan Abidemi better known as Bae U Barbie, has taken a swipe at ace comedian and Nollywood actor, Ayo Makun, aka AY.
Speaking while hosting the latest episode of his podcast show, ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’, Bae U insinuated that the AY is not funny.
According to him, the stand-up comedian’s career shows that a funny man does not have to be humourous to be successful.

Bae U while introducing AY in a snippet of the upcoming episode of his show said, “Our guest today is a reminder that you don’t have to be funny to be a successful comedian in Nigeria.”
However, after the snippet of the podcast made the rounds on social media, it elicited mixed reactions from netizens.
While some of those who commented in the comments section of the now viral post considered Bae U’s comment as a joke and had a good laugh, others opined it was a joke taken too far.
Prior to this development, AY had during an interview he granted admitted he wasn’t among the funniest comedians in Nigeria.
