Nollywood actor and movie maker, Ibrahim Chatta has disclosed that life was not a bed of roses before hitting the limelight.

He made this known during a recent interview with actress, Biola Bayo on the ‘Talk to B Podcast,’ where he revealed that he worked as a bus conductor for eight years.

The versatile thespian while narrating the challenges he faced before fame, also said he once lived in a single room with nine people in Lagos.

He further said he had to trek long distances on several occasions in his quest to make ends meet.

Speaking on the show, Chata said, “I lived in a single room with nine other people and it was difficult. I will walk from Agege to Ikeja back then. I became a bus conductor for eight years. Working from Iyana Oba, Oshodi, Eko. I have worked so hard in life. May God crown my effort,” he said.
