Benjamin Kalu, Umahi, Sanusi to attend NNIIF annual conference Dec 3

Socio-cultural group, Nkata Ndi Inyom Igbo Foundation (NNIIF), has announced it is set to hold its annual conference in Abuja on December 3, 2024.
The theme of the conference is “Driving Transformation through Value Re-orientation, Inclusive Leadership and Sustainability”.
“To us, the urgent need to have nkata around the loss of our shared values and what remedies we can adopt to foster unity and development,” the group said in a statement made available to TheNiche on Monday by its National Publicity Secretary, Nnedinso Ogaziechi.
The organisation was birthed in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic by former minister of women affairs and woman leader, Iyom Josephine Anenih.

The group said this year’s conference was deliberately set for the nation’s capital Abuja to bring the conversation to a national platform. Its previous conferences were hosted in Lagos and Enugu.
The conference will be chaired by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu; Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, will be the Father of the Day while Dr. Timiebi Koripamo-Agary, a retired Federal Permanent Secretary and highly respected gender activist and mediator on labour and conflict issues who has served as the National Coordinator for Initiative for Peace and Industrial Harmony since 2011, will be Mother of the Day.
Speakers for the day include Senator Ned Nwoko, Dave Umahi, Rochas Okorocha, Osita Chidoka, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Labaran Maku, Dr. Stella Iwuagwu, Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi, May Ikokwu, among others.
