Former Big Brother Naija (BBnaija) winner, Ilebaye Odiniya, has hailed the emergence of Kellyrae as winner of this year’s edition of the reality show tagged “No Loose Guard”

TheNiche had earlier reported that the married housemate beat 28 other contestants to win the 2024 edition of the show on Sunday.

Kellyrae garnered over 35 per cent of the votes cast by viewers to beat second placed Wanni, who polled 32 per cent, while Onyeka came third.

Speaking with the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, after emerging as winner, Kellyrae noted that he and his wife, Kassia broke the jinx of couples not going far on the show.

He added that his decision to hide his marital status from fellow housemates might have earned him the N100 million grand prize.

“I’m happy my wife and I have broken a record of couples not going far on this show,” he said.

Reacting to the development, Ilebaye who is the winner of the show’s season 8 ‘All Stars edition’, expressed her admiration for Kellyrae’s hard work.

In a viral post on her X handle, she tweeted: “As it should be.”
