Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has encouraged Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, to reveal all he knows about the Premier League champions.

Arteta worked as Guardiola’s assistant between 2016 and 2019, with the two coaches still maintaining a good relationship.

He, however, left for Premier League rivals, Arsenal and has in the last two seasons helped them to finish in second place behind City.

Following the Gunners’ feisty 2-2 draw with the Citizens at the Etihad last Sunday, there has been bad blood and exchange or words between both camps.

After City complained about Arsenal’s tactics, Arteta claimed he knows about all the champions’ methods.

Reacting to his comment while speaking with reporters on Friday,  Guardiola said, “Next time he has to be more clear about exactly what he means. We know exactly what happened here in those four years.

“Maybe it’s about the 115 charges (for allegedly breaking Premier League financial rules). Maybe he has information on that, or maybe he has something (else), I don’t know?

“Next time, with the good relations I have with him, he can answer exactly what he means when he says he was here.”
