Kuje Community in Amuwo, others to enjoy slashed, fair prices of Petroleum products, says Kalu

When prices of petroleum products seems unaffordable for many Nigerians, Kuje Community in Amuwo, Lagos and surrounding clans have been assured of plans to mitigate the harsh situation through the magnanimity of Victor Kalu, an
entrepreneur.

Recall that the community which is close to Maza-Maza opposite Festac town area has no filling Station and mostly inhabited by Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo and other communities.

Flourishing businesses in the area include transportation by Okada, Keke, Baro, etc.


The Community heads have to troop out in their numbers to welcome a Petrol filling Station (Vindi Petroleum) formerly opened in the area to provide services with human face.


In his remarks, the Managing Director Victor Kalu said, his idea of seamless products distribution in the country and communities with fair price cannot be quantified in Naira and Kobo as his firm has resolved to partner stakeholders in the oil Sector to help slash prices of products and make it available, affordable in rural communities like kuje in Amuwo, a community of about three million dwellers.

” Nigerians want to see change, there must be a shift in the distribution of petroleum products, they have to partner with Vindi as we have resolved to offer a 30% cut in our prices as our Community Service Responsibility project”


Moving forward, Kalu also plans to open 750 stations in nine months as a model which he said was unique for a uniform and fair Pricing of Petroleum products across Nigerian states and communities.

“We want everyone in the community to feel the impact of this station, it’s a sacrifice from us. Some may say, how possible to achieve a uniform and cut down petroleum prices in this present Nigeria, I want to advise them, to watch, it might not be easy because through sacrifice, we might loss money, but in the long run, prices would stabilize because we believe in Volume”.


He also noted that God has been a big factor in his line of business, “I know nobody and it’s by the grace of God we’re offering to assist where others want to take advantage of the situation”.


He averred that he is risk taker and have succeed in past, insisting that this project won’t be the last.
