Miracle soap: Pastor Jeremiah withdraws N1b case against VeryDarkMan

-

The Delta-based Pastor Jeremiah Fufeyin has reportedly withdrawn a N1 billion libel case against social media celebrity, Vincent Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan.

Fufeyin had claimed to have gotten approval from the National Agency for Food Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for a miracle soap that delivers people from all kinds of suffering.

But VeryDarkMan pooh-poohed the claim.

In reaction, Pastor Fufeyin threatened to drag VeryDarkMan to court for libel. He demanded N1b as damages.

But VeryDarkMan mocked the threat of Fufeyin in several social media posts.

Days later, Fufeyin said he had forgiven VeryDarkMan even though VeryDarkMan didn’t beg for it.

In a post on social media, Fufeyin said: “Verydarkman, I, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, extend forgiveness to you. I am withdrawing the court case against you. Following the teachings of Jesus, who preached peace and corrected sinners, I forgive you. May you learn from your mistakes and walk in righteousness from now on, my son.”

Fufeyin, the founder and head prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM) Effurun in Delta State, had said in a viral video while defending his Miracle Soap that NAFDAC approved it and has an approval number from the agency.

The miracle soaps are of different categories. They include; Pool of Bathsheba Water (N2, 500), Water of Life (N1,000), New Beginning Pool of Bathsheba Water (N3,000), New Beginning Miracle Water (N3,000), Miracle Water Tripple Imparation (N3,000), I Must Carry My Twins (N10,000), Fast Lane Water (N5,000), and others.

Fufeyin said of the soaps, “Are you not tired of suffering? This soap (showing the soap) is NAFDAC-approved with a NAFDAC number. I am not from the company that approved it. My own is to say the word of God. I use it. I succeeded with it.”

But VeryDarkMan called out the pastor for claiming that the product has a NAFDAC number.

According to VeryDarMan, NAFDAC approves products based on the description function which manufacturers claim. He disputed that NAFDAC would approve the products with a description function of ‘miraculously ending people’s suffering.’
