One of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 housemates, Rhuthee has opened up on her journey as a “teen mother”.
Speaking during a chat with fellow housemate, Mayor Frosh on Wednesday night, she confessed that she was initially ashamed of being a parent at a teenage age but later discovered that her daughter was the “best thing” that happened to her.
“How do I tell people I have a child? I can’t tell people. I never used to tell people I have a child,” Rhuthee said while fighting back tears.

She went on to say after her baby started growing up, she found the courage to accept the reality, adding that her daughter’s show of love also helped her.
She added, “It was just people that knew me from way back that knew that. I was still very ashamed that I had a child. It took me years to come out of that shell.
“As she grows, she even showed me more love than I ever did. And I’m like, this girl is the best thing that happened to me.”
