Mummy Wa counsels ladies, by all means, avoid hookup, digitally and physically

Actress Mummy Wa (Kemi Ikuseedun) has advised ladies to shun hookup, euphemism for prostitution – whereby women sell sex to men – insisting all categories of females can find other means of survival, even though the Nigerian economy is bleak and Bola Tinubu is merely playing games for media optics without creating the environment for businesses to thrive.
“A lot of people are doing different things to survive in Nigeria, and it is crazy. However, I don’t advise people to engage in hookup, whether digitally or physically. There are other ways to make money and survive,” pitched Mummy Wa, the stage “wife” of skit maker and activist Mr. Macaroni.
On her own career, Mummy Wa disclosed to The PUNCH she enjoys playing Mr Macaroni’s onscreen wife.
“The best part of playing Mummy Wa is actually acting alongside Mr Macaroni. He is a wonderful person, and I am just so happy playing the character.”
She also explained why she recently shared a video collage of her days of small beginnings.
“I was inspired to share the video because of the fact that my movie is coming out soon. I am very happy about it. For some people, it might not mean anything, but this thing that started small for me has become a whole lot.
“It is something I have always wanted to do, and I am happy that I have done it, and will still do even more.”
