Marry from within Nollywood for compatible lifestyles, she says

By Jeph Ajobaju, Chief Copy Editor

Nollywood thespian Uche Ogbodo has advised colleagues to get married within the industry instead of looking for spouses outside who do not understand the lifestyles of actors and actresses who parade as celebrities.

I married an actor myself, she said, buttressing her point as she spoke in response to the growing number of single Nollywoodians struggling to find spouses.

She argued a fellow actor would better appreciate the responsibilities of the job and would be a better marital partner.

Ogbodo explained on Instagram that Nollywood actresses – though seen by many as loose, gold digging women who are not wife material – make ideal wives; and the men too could be good husbands even as they are seen as vain, egocentric, and chronic womanisers.

“My Advice to Nollywood actors or Actresses looking for a Life Partner,” she began.

“Look within the industry, Husband full there, Wife Full. Marry yourselves. Your fellow actor understands you and your job better than an Outsider. Besides, Nollywood actresses make the Best Wives. Argue with yourself if you no Gree.

“Make You for No Old Where you Dey find Husband or Wife ooo!
