Chelsea earn 2 unwanted records after 5-0 annihilation by Arsenal

Chelsea, on Tuesday at the Emirates,  conceded four goals in the second half during an incredible 18-minute spell by Arsenal

West London club, Chelsea on Tuesday night created two unwanted records after they were trashed 5-0 by harsh-rivals, Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

TheNiche had earlier reported that the Gunners scored 5 times and kept a clean sheet during the derby game, backing up their impressive win at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

Prior to the Wolves’ game, Arsenal had suffered a home league defeat to Aston Villa and a Champions League quarter-final exit to Bayern Munich.

However, Leandro Trossard opened the scoring for the home side in the 4th minute to settle any early nerves when he beat Chelsea keeper, Djordje Petrovic at his near post.

Arsenal then ran riot in the second half. scoring four times in an incredible 18-minute spell.

Following the 11th league defeat, Chelsea have now broken their own record for the most league goals conceded in a season..

Apart from this, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have also conceded 57 goals in the league this season.

It is the most they have ever conceded in a single Premier League campaign  with six games to play.
