Peruzzi threatens to sue X user after  alleging he had affair with Davido’s wife, Chioma

Popular Nigerian Afrobeats singer,  Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, aka Peruzzi, has threatened to take legal action against a social media user who falsely accused him.

The X user identified as @belikebaddy took to his handle to doctor a screenshot of a supposed tweet by Peruzzi, claiming that his record label boss, Davido, cut him off because of his alleged affair with his wife, Chioma.

The tweet read: “We used to be so close but because you hear say I dey pipe your wife you start to give me attitude. I don leave your circle sha. Ungrateful n*gga like say if no write your songs you for blow.”

Reacting to the post on Wednesday, the ‘Hypertension’ crooner disowned the viral screenshot alleging he made an incriminating tweet about Davido and swiftly deleted it.

Insisting the tweet was doctored, Peruzzi wrote: You sabi edit abi? You go edit for me wella. No worry.”

Following his rebuttal, the tweep behind the doctored screenshot, apologised to Peruzzi and Davido on Thursday and promised not to repeat his action.

He tweeted: “I apologize for posting an edited tweet which involved @peruzzi and @davido. I take full responsibility for all my actions have caused, and I promise it’ll never happen again. My apologies to DMW Management.”

However, after his apology, Peruzzi reposted his tweet, but insisted he would still be taking legal action against him.

The singer wrote: “Yall retweet this, so he can have money for court.”

In another post, he added: “God forgives, I do too. But not this time. F**k that.”
