Ace Nigerian Afrobeats star, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has recounted how he has been dealing with the death of his mother, Dolapo Balogun.
According to him, despite the pain of losing her, it’s sometimes better to let everything go and seek God’s face while mourning someone who is close.
He made this known recently via his Instagram page, where he said since the demise of his beloved mother, life has been meaningless to him.

Speaking via his social media page, the “Ojuelegba” crooner urges his fans and other netizens to seek solace in God while going through such an experience.
“Made idk days after I lost my mum. Life has been meaningless! But we dey. Sometimes you have to let everything go. Work with God.” Wizkid wrote.
TheNiche had earlier reported the Grammy awards-winning artiste lost his mother in August 2023, during a tour for his album, ‘More Love Less Ego’ in Europe.
