Hanks Anuku finally admits he’s jobless, cries out for help

Hanks Anuku said despite working and reaching the status of a legend, he is still living from hand to mouth

Veteran Nollywood actor, Hanks Anuku has finally owned up to being idle and needing help, after claiming he has been jobless for several years.

The thespian, made this known while reacting to a viral video of him working as a fuel attendant at a gas station in Delta State.

According to the 63-year-old, despite working and reaching the status of a legend, he is still living from hand to mouth.

He went on to call on the  Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, well-meaning Nigerians and his fans to come to his aid.

Speaking via the now-viral clip, Hanks Anuku said, “I have worked for this country. I have attained the height of being a legend. But I’ve had no job for, God knows, how many years. And I expect that Nigerians will also know that I did it all for them.

“I just gonna ask Governor Sheriff [Oborevwori] to please send support to me. And my fans who truly love and appreciate the works I’ve done for them, if you think you truly love me, may God help you all to help me.”

Prior to this development, some netizens and fellow actors have raised alarms over the well being of the thespian, after claiming he was seen wandering around and looking tattered, but Anuku refuted the claims.
