Human rights activist and former Kaduna State senator, Shehu Sani, has thrown a subtle jibe at the immediate past Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai.

Reacting to the latest post by the former governor on his Twitter Page, Sani described him as “a Rastafarian and Reggae artiste.”

It all began when El-Rufai tweeted a popular hit song by late Jamaican Reggae icon, Bob Marley, ‘Who The Cap Fit.’

El-Rufai had in the now-viral post told his social media followers that he enjoyed the song as a young man and recommended it for them.

He tweeted: “Who The Cap Fit – Bob Marley & The Wailers is one of my favourites from the 1970s.

“Enjoy your Sunday with the song and lyrics that are timeless. – @elrufai.”

Responding to the post via his own Twitter handle, Sani claimed he has succeeded in turning El-Rufai into a Reggae singer.

He wrote: “I have turned him into a Rastafarian and Reggae artist, yeah man.”

This development comes after the Senate refused to clear and confirm the former governor as a minister owing to security reasons.
