Big Brother Naija All-Stars (BBNaija) housemate and Nollywood actress, Venita Akpofure, has made a shocking revelation on the reality show.
According to the Delta State-born thespian, she allegedly suffered domestic violence as a child from her father.
The mother-of-two made this known during a conversation with her love interest, Adekunle, at the back of the Big Brother Naija house.
Speaking during the chat, Venita confessed that her father was very physically violent with her while she was growing up.

Zeroing in on details, she said: “He will hit me with wires, objects, knives, and once he pushed me down the stairs and locked me outside for 3 hours”.
She, however, added that during her introduction, he got drunk and gave a speech about how he often thought about apologising to her for being abusive.
Venita further said even though her dad was harsh, she had always thought he was scolding her for good until the speech at her marriage introduction made her realise she was the only one out of all his children he got physical with.
She went on to also alleged that her ex-husband, Terna Olushola Tarka aka Sir Tax, a businessman of mixed-race and Tiv ethnicity from Mbakor, Benue State, Nigeria
used to abuse her too.
