Bunmi Tunji-Ojo Ondo Minister-designate: The emergence of a game changer as NYSC cleared him of certificate scandal

Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, a Minister nominee in Ondo State by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ushered in a new era of Ondo State politics with a limitless vision of a better future that will endure for many years to come in the state.
However, what could have pull him down and changed the new narrative in the state, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has finally settled the ranging battle as it stated that the NYSC certificate tendered by him is a genuine one
There is currently wild jubilation in several towns in the state over the news that Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has been cleared of any NYSC certificate scandal.
Tunji-Ojo, young vibrant politician has provided a glimpse of a stronger, better, fairer Ondo State politics, where change comes from the bottom up. He has inspired millions of new voters of all ages, races, and incomes to lend their voices for real change.
For in this man, Nigeria youths can see the possibility of hope for the country that is yet to be. Benching the bigwigs politicians in the Sunshine State for a young, vibrant and popular politician like Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo to emerge as Minister of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Federal Cabinet has not gone down well with them.
For instance, the routine circulation of prominent traditional political gladiators in the corridor of power in Ondo state at the Federal level has gone for good and gave way to youths, though, they are still struggling to stay afloat the troubled waters.
In the nutshell, his (Tunji-Ojo) recent endeavours in the House Representative had left an indelible mark among his people in Akoko North Federal Constituency as he has provided visionary and people oriented leadership anchored on an integrated approach to the economic empowerment of his Constituency which also speak volumes for him.
The current political climate in the Sunshine State is such that prominent gladiators may go into oblivion at least for a while if the trend of event persists and allowed to continue to flourish.
However, since Tunji-Ojo was nominated as minister by President Tinubu, the pull down syndrome raised its ugly heads as some people claiming that he tendered a fake NYSC certificate.
But the battle was finally won yesterday as National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in a letter titled “Re: Freedoom of Information (FOI) Request on Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo Verified Certificate” signed by Mrs Fasakin B.A for the Director General doused the tension saying that the NYSC certificate tendered by Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo was a genuine one.
The letter dated 8th August, 2023 with Reference No. NYSC/CCD/VER/10/S.1/VOL.I/01 addressed to the Editor in Chief/ Chief Operating Officer, Premium Times, 53, Maybole Street, Wuse Zone 2 Abuja.
It stated that Mr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo was mobilised by National Service in 2006 and was deployed to FCT. He later absconded from Service saying that he resurfaced in 2019 and went through the process of remobilization and was deployed to FCT and posted to Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) for his primary assignment.
“During the passing out, his certificate of National Service was not available because it was omitted in the Certificate Printing Application.
“He applied for his Certificate of National Service through the State Coordinator FCT on 18th October, 2022 and rhe State Coordinator forwarded same ro the Headquarters and his Certificate of National Service No. A004523631 was produced on 28th February, 2023, it added.
