Victory after emerging winner, thanked his fans for their support and asserted they made his dream come true

Nigerian singer, Victory Gbakara, on Sunday night, emerged winner of the eighth edition of Nigerian Idol.
Victory, who closed off the season with a performance of Wiskid’s song ‘Blessed’ defeated Precious Mac to win the keenly contested music competition.
This means he is the winner of the N100 million grand prize, part of which is N35 million in cash and a brand new car.
Apart from the cash prize and automobile, the upcoming singer also wins a music record deal and video shoot.

Speaking shortly after emerging victorious, Victory thanked his fans for their support, stressing that they made his dream come true.
He said, “I don’t know what to say. But I want to say thank you. You made this happen
“Thank you all so much. I love you. Thank you for making my dream come true.”
The season eight edition of the show which began on Sunday, April 23, 2023, has been gracing the TV screens of Nigerians for close to three months.
