Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso has said he would be making several changes when his team take on Brazil in their final group game on Saturday.
Bosso’s charges qualified for the Round of 16 of the 2023 Under 20 World Cup being held in Argentina on Wednesday night after victories against Dominican Republic and Italy.
Brazil, on the other hand, bounced back from their opening game defeat to Italy with a comprehensive 6-0 annihilation of the Dominican Republic.
This means Flying Eagles are now top of Group D with six points, while Brazil and Italy are second and third respectively with 3 points each.

However, even though Nigeria have qualified for the knockout stages of the competition, Brazil and Italy can still leapfrog them on the log standings but Bosso seems unperturbed by that possibility.
Speaking after his team’s 2-0 victory against Italy, the Nigerian tactician said players who didn’t partake in the first 2 matches deserve a chance in the final group game.
He said: “Those players who have not played in the first two matches, I think we have to give them a chance to showcase themselves,”
The encounter against Brazil billed for Estadio Unico Diego Maradona in La Plata will kick-off at 7pm Nigerian time.
