Barcelona boss, Xavier Hernández Creus, also known as Xavi has said French defender, Jules Kounde, is now happy to stay at the club after he held talks with him.
Reports had earlier emanated that the France international made a transfer request to leave Camp Nou after being played out of position by Xavi.
However, speaking after Barcelona’s 3-1 defeat at Real Valladolid, Xavi confirmed that he and Kounde have spoken and that all matters have been resolved.

He went on to say he made himself clear to the player and that at the end of the day, they are both happy about the outcome of the meeting.
“I spoke with Koundé and I was clear with him. I know there are a lot of stories — but the player left the meeting happy and same for me. There are no problems,” Xavi said at his post-match press conference.
“The conversation has been clear, no problem and no issues.”
Koundé is one of the shining lights that won the La Liga title for the Spanish giants this season.
