Nonso Amadi also urged upcoming artistes to avoid being copycats, stressing the need to stand out if they want to be successful

Nigerian singer, songwriter and music producer, Nonso Amadi has said his genre of music is unusual and can only be done by him.
The singer made this known during the latest episode of the Afrobeats Podcast hosted by Shopsydoo, where he claimed ace singers, such as Wizkid and Burna Boy will not be unable to replicate his type of music.
According to the ‘Tonight’ crooner, though he is influenced and inspired by these music giants, he believes they cannot produce his unique kind of music.

Speaking during the chat Amadi said, “I am not making the same music as Burna Boy and Wizkid and others. I’m making music that I love. I’m inspired and influenced by them but there is a Nonso Amadi that anybody can.”
He went on to say he isn’t trying to be a duplicate of any established artist, adding that he has been building his own style of music and personality for a while.
Nonso Amadi during the interview, also urged upcoming artistes to avoid being copycats, stressing that they need to stand out if they are to make it in the music industry.
