Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) star and popular host, Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, simply known as Doyin, has said she can date a man that is cheating on her as long as he is still in love with her.

She made the revelation during a recent episode of her podcast, ‘Doyin’s Corner’ which featured fellow BBNaija stars, Beauty Tukura and Modella as guests.

According to the Ondo State-born reality star, people in romantic relationships can cheat on their partners and still love them.

The medical radiographer went on to argue that loyalty in relationships between a man and woman does not mean the same thing as faithfulness.

Speaking on the subject during the chat Doyin said: “My partner can love me but still cheat on me. But I don’t think that because he has cheated, he doesn’t love me. For me, my definition of loyalty is not, don’t cheat me.”

She also said she would rather have a partner who will let her know he would cheat than one who is pretending to be faithful when he is not

“I’m just trying to be realistic in my relationship. For me, I will say I want a partner that he will tell me, babe, I’m travelling for six months, I can not promise you that I will be loyal for six months,” she added.

However, after making her points, her featured guests on the show, Beauty and Modella disagreed with her.

They claimed any romance that would stand the test of time must be devoid of cheating by both parties, insisting that relationships to be healthy must be one man, one woman.
