Big Brother Naija star, Adeoluwa Okusaga better known as Saga, has sent tongues wagging online after claiming his engagement video with fellow reality star and love interest, Anita Singh aka Nini, which trended on the Nigerian digital space some days ago was a skit.

Saga and Nini got their fans and other netizens talking after a video of their purported engagement made the rounds.

The news, however, came as a shock to BBNaija fans, who were thrilled by the photos from the proposal night that went viral online.

In the photos and videos shared, Saga was seen proposing to Nini in a room decorated with rose flowers with an inscription on the wall reading, “Will you be mine forever? ”

After the development, the artist in a chat with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, spoke further on the engagement to the beautiful Edo born ex-BBNaija housemate, saying he was labelled a ‘mumu’ (fool) for crying and following Nini around during the show.

However, in what appears to be a u-turn, Saga during a recent interview with Naija FM, Lagos, said the video and pictures that trended were shot in December 2022.

He went on to claim that he did not know how the videos found their way to the internet, but insisted the project was a skit.

He said: “It was an old video anyways, shot in December last year. I still do not know how that video got out; it was Nini that called me. I got calls from people about the video and it makes me very shy. It was a very private video. The video na skit.”
