Sokoto State Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Usman Suleiman aka Danmadamin Isa, has died.
The 72-year-old died in the late hours of Friday at Usumanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital after a brief illness.
Isa was a former Sokoto PDP Chairman, former Commissioner for Works and Transport, and former Commissioner for Rural Development.
He was also before his death, the Chairman, Chief Executive USDANIS Nigeria Limited, USDANIS Petroleum Resources limited and Aminci Bureau De Change.

In a statement signed and made available to journalists by the state Commissioner for Information, Muhammad Dalhatu, Governor Aminu Tambuwal, who is on a working visit to Abuja, sent a condolence message to the people of the state and family of the late commissioner.
The governor, in the message, prayed Allah to forgive the deceased and grant his soul eternal rest and his immediate family and the people of Sokoto State the courage to bear the great loss.
He said the death of Isa is a great loss to Sokoto State especially now that his services are needed the most.
Late Danmadamin Isa died and left behind two wives with many children and grandchildren. Among his children is Jamilu Usman Danmadamin Isa.
Funeral prayer has been conducted at his residence in the Polo Club area of Sokoto.
