Peseiro gave the Serie A side a chance of winning the Champions League because the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are beatable

Nigerian coach, Jose Peseiro has backed Victor Osimhen’s club, Napoli to win this year’s UEFA Champions League (UCL) trophy ahead of the more illustrious Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
The Super Eagles gaffer, gave Serie A side Napoli a chance of winning the Champions League because he thinks the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are beatable this season.
According to Peseiro, Napoli who is in pole position to be crowned Serie A champions this season, are as good as the Spanish and German champions

Napoli are well placed to advance to the quarter-final of the Champions League after beating Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 in the first leg in the last-16 clash away in Germany last month.
On Wednesday night, Napoli will host Frankfurt in the Champions League round of 16 second-leg tie at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Speaking to Sportitalia on Napoli’s chance of lifting the UCL trophy Peseiro said: “I think that Napoli, as well as being able to win the championship, can also aim to win the Champions League,”.
“This is because, at the moment, I don’t see a team clearly superior to the others. Of course, there are teams full of champions like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich who obviously aim for victory, but I don’t see them as unbeatable this year.”
