President Muhammadu Buhari has disclosed he intends to deliver his constituency to the All Progressives Party’s candidate, Bola Tinubu after voting for him in his polling unit in Daura, Katsina State.
According to him, he made it known to his constituency that the APC candidate is his choice and he believes they will vote for him overwhelmingly.
This is coming after the president was criticised for displaying his ballot paper openly to show that he voted for his party’s candidate.
Buhari also expressed his happiness over the massive turnout of people during the election.

He said: “All over the place I mentioned my favourite candidate, Asiwaju Tinubu, and I believe my constituency will elect him 100 percent.
“Nigerians should make sure that they are respected; that means that the candidate they want to vote for they are allowed to vote for him.”
Prior to Saturday’s election, there were insinuations of an alleged rift between Buhari and Tinubu, as some supporters of the latter accused the former of using the naira redesign and fuel scarcity to deliberately frustrate the presidential ambition of their candidate.
Meanwhile, the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, Chief Dele Momodu, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to call the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to order over a “recklessly dangerous publication unilaterally awarding an impossible victory to the APC”, by a newspaper linked to him.
