World Cup winner and Paris Saint-Germain striker, Lionel Messi has refused insinuations that he and club teammate, Kylian Mbappe are at loggerheads.
According to the Argentina captain, he and the young French striker have discussed the fallout of the Qatar 2022 World Cup final together and are at peace with each other.
Mbappe grabbed a hat-trick during the highly entertaining final, but it was not enough to stop Messi from lifting the trophy for the first time in his career.

Speaking on his relationship with Mbappe and the World Cup final during an interview with Argentine outlet Ole, the 35-year-old said he has discussed the final with the French star.
He went on to say he has been on the side that lost a final before and knows how it feels, but added that there is no feud between him and his teammate.
“Yes, we talked about the game, the celebrations, how people had lived in Argentina in those days that I had been on vacation.
“I was on the other side too, I had to lose a world final as well. I didn’t want to know anything that had to do with the World Cup at that time. But the truth is that there is no problem with Kylian, quite the opposite,” Messi said.
