Nigerian midfielder, Alex Iwobi has congratulated his Everton teammate and England striker, Dominic Calvert-Lewin after making 200 appearances for the Merseyside club.
Iwobi sent the one-word message to Calvert-Lewin who donned the Everton jersey for the 200th time in his career during their 3-1 FA Cup defeat on Friday, January 6 at Old Trafford.
The Three Lions striker came on as a substitute for French forward, Neal Maupay, in the 69th minute of the encounter, as the Toffees bowed out of the cup competition.
Frank Lampard’s side are yet to win a game in their last eight outings in all competitions, and the English tactician is under tremendous pressure from the supporters of the club at the moment.
Reacting to the feat on his Instagram page, Calvert-Lewin wrote: “I am proud to have played 200 games for my club. There are many more important ones to come in the next few weeks and months,”

Reacting to his post through his comment section, his teammate Alex Iwobi responded: “Big”.
The Toffees striker should have reached that figure or more a lot earlier but he has missed a large number of games in the last 18 months due to injuries.
Calvert-Lewin has struggled badly with injury problems this season as well, and has only returned to action recently.
Meanwhile, Alex Iwobi sustained an ankle ligament injury during the FA Cup third-round encounter with Manchester United according to his manager, Frank Lampard.
The Nigerian sustained the nasty-looking injury during the early part of the second half of the match and was taken off on a stretcher after which Abdoulaye Doucouré replaced him.
