The supercomputer at FiveThirtyEight has predicted that the English Premier League (EPL) champions, Manchester City will win 2022/2023 despite currently sitting 5 points behind league leaders, Arsenal on the log.

The Gunners are currently leading the league table but the supercomputer believes Mikel Arteta’s side will end up in second position when the league ends in May.

The Citizens have won the English Premier League four times in the last five seasons, while Arsenal last lifted the Cup in 2004 during the Arsene Wenger era.

However, the Gunners have been impressive this season despite all odds, but the supercomputer expects Pep Guardiola’s side to take charge in the coming months and win the title by a single point.

It added that the champions will rack up a total of 84 points at the end of the season, while the Gunners will claim 83 points, coming second in the process.
