Portable incurs fans’ wrath, stoned with bottles at Agege

Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable, has once again made the headlines for the wrong reasons after he went to perform at a concert in Agege, a suburb of Lagos State 

The “Zazu” crooner, while honoring an invitation in the area, seemed to incur the wrath of the crowd which had gathered to see him and listened to his hit tracks, as they made it clear that he was not welcomed by their reactions.

In a series of videos that made the rounds on social media, the controversial singer was seen being stoned with bottles as he took to the stage during a concert in Agege. 

According to reports, the crowd despite allowing Portable to mount the stage, prevented him from performing, with some of them insisting the singer should prostrate and tender an apology. 

In another video posted online, some of the fans were seen at the venue shouting that Portable should recognise that he is in their territory and must learn how to be humble while outside his zone.

After the videos of the singer’s ordeal in Agege became a trending topic on social media, netizens took to the comment section to air their views.

While a lot of those who commented condemned the act and argued it was sponsored by another singer, Small Doctor, others hailed the action of the crowd and advised Portable to learn how to stay humble despite his celebrity status. 

Meanwhile, in a different scenario,  Afrobeat star and YBNL signee, Ahmed Ololade a.k.a Asake, pulled a surprise on his fans and other fun seekers, when he ended his stage performance before the arrival of some of them.
