Deputy Managing Director and Co-Founder of VETIVA, Olaolu Mudashiru, has died following a freak accident that occurred in the island axis of Lagos State on Sunday morning.
Mudashiru who is an investment banker was reportedly riding a bicycle with a group of cyclists when a car plowed into their bikes on Gerrard Road, an upscale neighborhood of Ikoyi, Lagos, and sped off, leaving them with very serious injuries.

The Businessman and two other bikers involved in the accident were later taken by ambulance to the Lagoon Hospital on Bourdillon Road in Ikoyi, where Mudashiru was later pronounced dead as a result of head injuries sustained.
The late Co-Founder of VETIVA, one of Nigeria’s leading Capital Management firms earned his first degree from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) before earning an MBA from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom.
He was the son of late Air Commodore Gbolahan Mudashiru, a former military governor in charge of Lagos State.
